The Twilight Saga: Eclipse script leaks!
Earlier today an alleged copy of the script for Eclipse leaked online. It's made it's way in several Twilight communities on Livejournal and elsewhere, so those who want to find it - it's not hard. It's hilariously bad (not a surprise) but seems pretty spot on, and similar to the other movie scripts.
The best part and what makes this news-worthy? Every page is watermarked with Jackson Rathbone's name. He is one of the main character and plays Jasper in the movies... So, I bet Summit isn't too happy about this.

( another page. )
I smell a lawsuit, or a few? Keep in mind this movie is to be released next summer.
Somewhere Stephenie Meyer is about to burst into flames.

| Sean Penn Returns to 'The Three Stooges' Movie |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|07:57 pm] |

The retirement is over! Remember when Sean Penn left Hollywood and the remake of The Three Stooges to focus on his family? Only a few months later, the divorce was final, and now that it's the New Year, Sean Penn is looking to get back to work. The Boston Herald reports that he's back on to play Larry in the Farrelly Brothers remake, which is still going forward. "We got him back. He always said he wanted to do it after, you know, taking care of his family," says Bobby Farrelly
As the Herald writes, there were rumors that Penn would be replaced by Paul Giamatti, but that was a no-go and without stars, the film couldn't kick into gear for its August start date. Now the brothers are shooting Hail Pass with Owen Wilson next month, and then, presumably, will focus on The Stooges. ...if they get the rest of the cast in place.
Larry is good and set, and with Penn back on, Benicio Del Toro is still keen to play Moe. That leaves the one final -- and many would argue -- most important Stooge left ... Curly. Bobby Farrelly says Jim Carrey isn't interested, so who could it possibly be?
He retired? I missed that. He should totally call up Johnny, though. They're friends and he'd so do it. source |

| Chuck's Yvonne Strahovski talks about season three, plus shopping pics with her boyfriend |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|07:32 pm] |
Will the fact that Chuck Bartowski knows kung fu impair his ability to woo? Surprisingly, the answer is yes, as revealed when NBC’s ‘Chuck’ returns for a third season starting Sunday, January 10 (before settling into its usual Mondays-at-8 slot). Aussie beauty Yvonne Strahovski gave us a look at the romantic speed bumps to come, talked about that swimsuit scene, and shared some of her guilty pleasures.
It would seem that Chuck’s new skills would make him an even better fit with Sarah, yet from everything I’m hearing they instead hit a rough patch. Is that right? Yes, they do actually hit a bit of a rough patch. With this new Intersect in his brain, [Sarah and Casey] have to train him to use it properly, so he’s all the more in danger and we still have to protect him. Plus other obstacles are in the works because we have [Kristin Kreuk ('Smallville') and Brandon Routh ('Superman Returns')] coming on to play new love interests for Chuck and Sarah.
What can you reveal about Brandon Routh’s character, who emerges as the new leader of “Operation Bartowski”? How would you compare Sarah’s attraction to Shaw versus, say, Bryce? One of the things that’s similar is they’re on the same page at the professional level, as far as being spies, whereas Chuck is not as capable of protecting himself. Also, sometimes Sarah feels more comfortable talking to Shaw. Things come about as Season 3 goes along where you actually see some other similarities… but I’m not going to reveal too much.
Will the introduction of Shaw and Hannah (played by Kreuk) present a respite from Chuck and Sarah’s “Will They/Won’t They?” angst, or only make it worse? I think it will make it even more torturous! [Laughs] There’s always that “Will They/Won’t They?” thing, and when you add third parties into it… it’s a pain to watch somebody hook up with somebody else. So yes, we continue that. There’s always the bubbling romance underneath. ( Stunts, bikinis and America's Next Top Model... )
Chuck starlet Yvonne Strahovski and her boyfriend, actor Tim Loden are affectionate as they go Christmas shopping together in Hollywood. The 27-year-old Aussie actress picked up a few things on her trip, including swag from Anthropologie!
Next up for Yvonne Strahovski is Chuckfest. She, along with other members from the cast of Chuck will meeting fans this weekend!

| Merman Jason Statham Co-Star Sylvester Stallone Breaks Neck |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|05:23 pm] |

Movie action hero Sylvester Stallone broke his neck while filming a fight scene during his new film The Expendables.
The star revealed to FHM magazine he suffered a hairline fracture and needed to have a metal plate inserted in his neck after a "vicious" fight between him and wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin in the movie, which also stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke and British actor Jason Statham.
"Man, it was seven guys, kicking each other's ass, one guy tougher than the next. No joke, our stunt guys were begging for mercy," Stallone said.
"Actually, my fight with Stone Cold Steve Austin was so vicious that I ended up getting a hairline fracture in my neck. I'm not joking. I haven't told anyone this, but I had to have a very serious operation afterwards.
"I now have a metal plate in my neck."
The Expendables follows a secret team of special military operatives who work together to overthrow a dictator in South America. It is due for release in the middle of 2010.

Gemma Arterton: The Bond girl done good
Since her debut with 007, Gemma Arterton has resisted the starlet trap and opted for surprisingly gritty roles
Gemma Arterton is, in her own words, a freak. “I was born,” says the 23-year-old former Bond girl (Quantum of Solace) and St Trinian’s starlet, casually thrusting forward her hands, “With two extra fingers.” She rubs softly the raised pinkish knuckle scars on the side of both hands and continues, “There were no bones in them, just the fingers and the fingernails.” Arterton, dressed down in denims and black winter woollies, and munching on a rocket and goat’s cheese salad in an East London rehearsal studio, then cocks her head to one side, parts the hair of her trademark bob, and adds, “And I’ve got a crumpled ear, look!” She taps the mildly swollen flesh at the top of her right ear, and sighs, “I was a freakish baby. A bit of an oddball. And I still feel like that now.”

| Maybe She Did It For The Money? |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|05:18 pm] |

The NY Post wrote a scathing piece today slamming burlesque singer Beyonce for performing a private 1-hour concert for the son of Muslim Libyan terrorist, Moammar Khadafy.
This is more evidence that celebrities will do anything for money and fame. Beyonce performed for an hour on New Year’s Eve at a party thrown by terror-backing Libyan dictator Moammar Khadafy’s son, Hannibal, who has a long record of violence against women. Some vacationers on the island were aghast. DJ Sam Young tweeted: “Jigga [Jay-Z], Beyonce & Usher were @ Nikki Beach performing for Khadafy family, WTF?” Read More… Apparently, Khadafy’s son Hannibal beat his wife to a pulp inside their hotel room over the Christmas holidays. The wife suffered a broken nose, among other injuries, and had to be hospitalized. The criticism is so damaging that Beyonce’s camp at first denied that Beyonce received a $2 million fee to perform. Then they denied that Beyonce even performed. But music magnate Russell Simmons already tweeted the pics from the concert and confirmed that she was there performing. It remains to be seen how this one will play out. Thanks to loyal reader Gina for the tip!

| A Question about breasts- |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|07:17 pm] |
-or the entire lack thereof.
Hi, some backstory first to illuminate the picture properly. I'm 27 and I'm about 6 months pregnant. This means that my stomach has distended well past the point where I can skate by with wearing "normal" clothes and I'm now getting those looks that indicate that it's incredibly obvious that I'm pregnant. This is also my first pregnancy.
Further backstory, I have never had breasts. Quite literally. I wish I could say that I was using exaggeration in order to be humorous, but I'm not. I'm less than a third of an A-cup if that and always have been even when I was over 40 lbs overweight (but that's another story).
So with all this in mind, you can probably guess what my question is going to be. When are they supposed to come in? I've heard thousands of reassurances from various women that they will get bigger when my milk comes in but I can honestly tell you that I've been leaking like rusty old pipes and I've got no growth to show for it. I'm beginning to realize the heartbreaking truth that I may have gotten some really, really cruddy genetic code and that I will simply never grow breasts regardless of weight or hormone levels, but I thought I would ask a wider audience to see if anyone might have any other previously unknown information on this. (Naturally, it doesn't help that I feel just *so attractive* while being pregnant that this little tidbit has to pop up and give me an even worse complex than I had before).
So yeah, any ideas? Don't be afraid to tell the absolute, blunt truth. In fact, I'd rather prefer it. |

The new season of No Reservations begins January 11th on the Travel Channel. In the preview teaser, he’s seen in Panama burning tons of cocaine, an integral ingredient in many American restaurant kitchens. I asked him to describe that situation, considering he was a former user. He said that we’d all “just have to watch” but it was a lot of smoke, fire, and probably some tears. He then continued, “They actually told us to burn our shoes. The entire crew was each walking around with an eight-ball in the grooves of their shoes.”

I haven't done anything with my hair since last July, and I'm way overdue for a new style. Pictures under the cut!
( hope y'all had a happy new year so far! )
I'm waiting on the weather to warm up before cutting my hair, but I'm completely clueless on what to do. I also wanted to try a lighter brown, but I'm very inexperienced with picking the right color or brand of dye. (I've always wanted to try Palty, if anyone's tried it, how was it?)
My hair's also super thick, if that helps. Help a girl out? Pictures are great. (Or perhaps more good galleries, I've browsed through the ones linked to MRH's profile already.) So many questions, but I'd be really grateful. ^__^ |

| Don't take science advice from Gwyneth Paltrow |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|02:52 pm] |

Vinegar shots aren't a magic potion for weight loss and soda pop does not cause wrinkles, no matter what celebrities say, a British science charity declared on Monday.
"The body, including the liver, is a well-oiled detoxing machine which will not be improved by vinegar, whether it be organic, apple cider, unfiltered or your bog standard malt vinegar," said dietician Lucy Jones in the 2009 Celebrities and Science report of the Sense About Science charity trust. Actress Megan Fox, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie and model Cindy Crawford have all promoted the benefits of vinegar. Fergie told CosmoGirl last year: "I do vinegar shots. It has to be organic apple cider, unfiltered. I've noticed a difference on my stomach."
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow ran afoul of science by advocating organic, local foods that are not exposed to pesticides. "When I read about what pesticides do to small animals, I thought, why would I expose my child to that?" she told Good Housekeeping magazine.
Both scientist Dr. John Cherrie of the Institute of Occupational Medicine in Edinburgh and Professor Alan Boobis, a toxicologist at the Imperial College London said Paltrow was missing the point. "It's the dose that makes the poison," said Cherrie.
"Experimental animals," added Boobis, "are exposed to doses substantially greater than those to which consumers will ever be exposed."

| Controversy over Chloe Moretz swearing in Kick-Ass red band trailer |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|04:58 pm] |
The Kick-Ass movie trailer is starting to make the rounds on the internet, and although many fans are looking forward to this movie, as it's based on a popular comic book, many discussion threads are starting to pop up about whether it's appropriate for the 12-year-old star Chloe Moretz to be swearing so much in the film.
Chloe Moretz plays Hit-Girl in the movie, which also stars Nicolas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Mark Strong, and is directed by Matthew Vaughn, and in the movie Chloe uses the f-word and the c-word while shooting people in the head and cutting off limbs.
This is along the lines of the comic series, which is extremely violent, but some parents and groups are starting to get upset about the implications of so much swearing, so young, in a movie. The movie however, will be rated-R, but with so much available on the internet already, many are asking the question 'is Hollywood pushing the envelope too far?'

[Jan. 5th, 2010|04:36 pm] |

Law & Order: SVU is once again living up to its title as the most stunt-casting-obsessed series on television. Sharon Stone is joining the cast for a four-episode arc beginning in April.
The Oscar-nominated actress will play a former cop-turned-prosecutor who will (presumably) go toe-to-toe with Benson, Stabler, and the gang.
“It is obviously a thrill and a delight to have a star of Sharon’s wattage and importance joining SVU,” raves SVU boss Dick Wolf.
This isn’t Stone’s first flirtation with the small screen. In 2004, she won an Emmy for playing nutjob attorney Sheila Carlisle in three episodes of ABC’s The Practice. And the following year she recurred on Showtime’s Huff as a high-powered PR exec.
Thoughts? Did SVU top themselves? Who should SVU’s next dream hire be? Sound off below!

| Did Diabetes Play a Role in Casey Johnson's Death? |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|05:26 pm] |

Police investigating the death of Casey Johnson say that although the Johnson & Johnson heiress had a well-known drug abuse problem, she may have died from not taking her diabetes medication.
Johnson, who was diagnosed with diabetes as a child and had worked with the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, told the New York Observer in 2000 that she gave herself insulin shots every day.
"She was still suffering from diabetes and she was still on diabetic medications," a police source with knowledge of the situation tells PEOPLE. "The speculation is she came home after a night of partying and passed out without taking her meds or her insulin and that was the end of her."
Police say there was no sign of foul play and, although Johnson, 30, had battled drug problems in the past, there were no obvious signs that she took any illicit drugs before her death.
An autopsy was imminent, although a conclusive report might take several weeks pending the results of toxicology tests.
The source also notes that Johnson has had some wild ups and downs in her life over the past few months. She had become engaged last month to reality star Tila Tequila. And about five weeks ago, she was arrested on suspicion of grand theft for allegedly stealing from a fellow Hollywood party girl.
Johnson, who leaves behind a toddler daughter Ava whom she had adopted, was the great-great granddaughter of the founder of the pharmaceutical giant, and the daughter of New York Jets owner Robert Wood Johnson.

Three of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's six children will inherit money from the estate of Jolie's late mother, the actress Marcheline Bertrand, according to new reports. Bertrand, who died in 2007, left $100,000 each in a trust fund to Maddox, 8, Zahara, who turns 5 Friday, and Shiloh, 3, TMZ.com reports, citing documents filed this past week in Los Angeles Superior Court. The three will have access to the money when they turn 25, TMZ says. Pax (adopted in 2007) and the 17-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne arrived after Bertrand last updated her will, in 2006, and thus will not receive an inheritance. Bertrand died of ovarian cancer in January 2007 at age 56.

| Snoop Dogg Takes Fans Behind The Scenes At 'One Life To Live' |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|05:18 pm] |
Last year — even before James Franco made his foray into daytime TV on "General Hospital" — Snoop Dogg paid a visit to the fictional town of Llanview, Pennsylvania, the setting of the venerable soap opera "One Life to Live." Not only did he perform two songs from Ego Trippin' over a pair of episodes on the show, but he also acted in some scenes with the cast. He'll be back next month on February 24 for another visit to the show, this time to perform "I Wanna Rock." His return will also allow for his remix of the show's theme song.
In fact, Snoop has already shot his bits on the show, and he posted some behind-the-scenes footage to his official YouTube account. While it doesn't seem like life on set with Snoop Dogg is terrifically productive, it certainly seems like the veteran rapper is enjoying himself (and the rest of the cast is too).
Snoop's enthusiasm for the show dates back to his childhood. "I've been a fan of 'One Life to Live' since I was a baby," he said when his first guest spots aired last May. "My momma always had it on the tube in the crib growing up." And obviously Snoop is no stranger to the acting world, having given Snoopified performances in flicks like "Starsky and Hutch," "Training Day," "Soul Plane" and "Bones," as well as guest spots on TV shows from "The L Word" to "Monk."

| JLo: I could've won an Oscar |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|05:10 pm] |

In a fairly honest interview with Latina magazine, pop star, actress, and mother Jennifer Lopez opens up about what it's like to be her. We especially enjoyed the parts where she daydreamed about winning the Oscar for her role in the critically dismissed El Cantante the way, well, any normal person with big dreams would:
"I feel like I had that [Oscar-worthy role] in El Cantante, but I don’t even think the Academy members saw it. I feel like it’s their responsibility to do that, to see everything that’s out there, everything that could be great ... Well, it is a little bit frustrating. It was funny; when the Oscars were on, I had just given birth on the 22nd, and the Oscars, I think, were a day or two later. I was sitting there with my twins — I couldn’t have been happier — but I was like, ‘How dope would it have been if I would’ve won the Oscar and been here in my hospital bed accepting the award?’ ‘Thank you so much! I just want to thank the Academy!’ But we joked about it. It’s all good.”

LOS ANGELES – A judge has dropped a misdemeanor battery charge against Gerard Butler. Superior Court spokeswoman Mary Hearn says the charge was dismissed at a hearing Tuesday after the actor completed community service.
Butler could have faced up to six months in jail if convicted. His attorney, Blair Berk, declined to comment. City prosecutors say the Scottish-born star of "300" had a run-in with a photographer on Oct. 7 after leaving a premiere party for the film "RocknRolla." His manager has said Butler was forced to have his driver stop the car after the photographer sped through red lights and almost struck two pedestrians. City Attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan says prosecutors are "satisfied" with the outcome. source |

| Dry Skin and Awesome Scarves |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|01:47 pm] |
Two things I want to cover in this post:
1) I have abnormally dry skin. I always have. Crocheting/handling yarn frequently makes it even dryer. Do any of you have this problem, and how do you remedy it? I've tried wearing gloves but they get in the way a bit, so I tried wearing fingerless gloves but my fingers still got dried out from the yarn. I use lotion all. the. time. I have to apply it probably ten times an hour when I'm crocheting, no exaggeration. Because of this, I'm going to start making my own lotion to save money, but I'm wondering if any of you have this problem and how you remedy it?
2) My boss directed me to this awesome website. She offered to pay me to make her one of those scarves and I said I'd be happy to. She chose the longcat scarf. It's cute, but, it's not crocheted. Does anyone have any idea how I can make a scarf like that with yarn?

| wannabe Ginger :3 |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|03:38 pm] |
A couple months ago I dyed my (unnatural) white blonde hair a bright red. The roots came out a fire engine red, but the rest did NOTHING but turn a mucky slightly orangeish color. It looked awful. I freaked out and grabbed the only color I had on-hand, which was Burgandy (wella). My hair turned a sickening purple hue with slightly lighter ends. SO FINALLY, I was advised to just cover my head with a dark brown (4N for those who care) if I wanted an even color; and whaddya know, it worked! I had a nice chocolate brown, which I was fine with. Anyway, my dilema is this; my hair has faded from the dark brown (4N) to kind of a mousey, dull brown; you can even see some of the initial blonde in some areas. Now that I've let my hair breathe for a few months, I'd like to try for that red again! Does anyone have a brand/color they recommend that will get my hair red without bleaching? Or is bleaching inevitable? And if I do dye my hair red, am I going to have the same problems with the roots turning bright red and the ends not doing anything (looking back, I didn't use a filler, so that could be it)? Any advice is appreciated. Below is the hair I would love to have :)

Bad news for magic fans hoping for Siegfried and Roy's return to the stage: not gonna happen. Siegfried Fischbacher is quoted in Tuesday's edition of German magazine Neues Blatt as saying that "Roy and I miss our audience. But there will not be a comeback."
The duo gave their final performance last February after a five-year hiatus. That break, of course, came after Roy Horn was mauled by a white tiger named Montecore during a performance at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
Siegfried says Roy is still battling the long-term effects of the vicious attack, which left Horn in critical condition with severe blood loss.
"It is a miracle that he can stand on his own feet again and enjoy life," Siegfried said of Roy who is partially paralyzed.
The two performers, who are originally from Germany and live in Las Vegas, are getting used to their new life as retirees. "We like it," Siegfried said.

I have a vintage decorative bird cage I wanted to fix up and put into my daughter's room, but I'm in a bit of a pickle.
Can I sand the rust off of it while I'm pregnant? That doesn't sound safe, but is it? Also, is there a spray paint that is safe for pregnant women? I asked my brother if there is a latex based spray and he said he didn't think so because of the aerosol.
Anyone know about this kind of stuff? |

| Aamir Khan’s ‘3 Idiots’ breaks U.S. box-office record |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|04:02 pm] |
CHICAGO - The coming-of-age comedy, 3 Idiots, starring Aamir Khan, has set a U.S. box-office record for Bollywood films. Since its December 23rd release, it has earned $4.8 million from nearly 120 American theaters. The film collected $2.2 million during its opening weekend here and ranked 12th at the American box office that week. Worldwide, it has earned $52 million so far—also a box-office record for Indian movies—and it’s still showing to packed theaters in its domestic market. Indian films gross considerably less than American films because ticket prices in India are much cheaper.
3 Idiots, which tells the story of three friends struggling at a competitive university, breaks the previous Bollywood records of $49 million in worldwide revenue—also set by an Aamir Khan-starrer, the psychological thriller Ghajini, which released in December 2008—and $3.7 million in U.S. revenue—set in 2007 by Om Shanti Om, a campy spoof about the Indian film industry, starring Shahrukh Khan.
Shahrukh Khan’s films have historically dominated the U.S. market—and he may reclaim the top spot here soon. His upcoming film, My Name Is Khan, which is set in the U.S. and was filmed in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sacramento, is expected to release on February 12. The film—about a man with Asperger syndrome who is wrongly accused of terrorism—is being distributed in North America by Fox Searchlight Pictures, which distributed the Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire. Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2001), both starring Shahrukh Khan, are among the all-time highest-grossing Bollywood films in the U.S.

As someone who barely ever watches Bollywood unless SRK is in it, I can say that this movie is actually VERY good. Bollywood is really taking steps in the right direction. It was very inspiring and well made, so Kudos to them.

| Redmond O'Neal Arrested Again, Back In Jail |
[Jan. 5th, 2010|12:59 pm] |

LOS ANGELES -- Redmond O'Neal, the 24-year-old son of Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett, is back in jail after being arrested for a probation violation.
O'Neal was taken into custody on December 29th, after he returned to the Impact Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center in Pasadena following a 24 hour pass, according to police officials. It was the first time O'Neal had been given a pass out of the facility since arriving at the treatment center in September.
He was booked for a probation violation, a felony charge, and sent to Men's Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles, according to Steve Whitmore, spokesman for the L.A. County Sheriff's Department. He remains jailed without bail.
"It's a drug-related violation," according to O'Neal's attorney, Richard F. Pintal.
At a hearing Tuesday morning, L.A. Superior Court Judge Michael Tynan ordered O'Neal to remain jailed pending a February 2nd hearing. In November, Judge Tynan warned O'Neal that he would go to state prison for six years if he violated his probation.
"It actually strikes me that you haven't got a clue as to what recovery means. It is a lifelong commitment and it's grinding, hard, painful work," Tynan said after reading a letter Tuesday from O'Neal that was sealed from the public.
"You've got one responsibility and that's to yourself -- to get clean and sober," the judge told him.
O'Neal was admitted last April to a drug court program in connection with two drug-related cases -- one involving possession of heroin and methamphetamine and the latter involving possession of methamphetamine. The cases would be dismissed if he successfully completes the program.
He was sentenced in a third case to a minimum of a year in a residential drug-treatment program and three years probation following his no contest plea last September to a felony drug charge stemming from his arrest in a visitors' parking lot at a county detention facility in Castaic.
O'Neal's mother died June 25 after a long battle with cancer. He was temporarily released from jail so he could attend her funeral, then moved into a drug rehab program.
Fawcett left nearly all of her $6 million estate to her son. She appointed two trustees "to make sure the money supports her son's journey into sobriety, rather than giving him the means to destroy himself," according to her will.
